Introduction

Hello, My name is Shahida . Welcome to my Art Studio web page.  I live in Cumming with my husband. We have two boys.

Primarily, I am a painter and I prefer to work in Acrylics, oils and watercolor. But my passion is teaching Art.

Through my teaching and educational experience I have a strong desire to help children develop the individuality and creativity necessary to succeed in their education and throughout their lives.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic educator with 15+ years experience, and a strong track record fostering creativity in children. 

 I believe that everyone has a unique and individual artistic style, which I try to identify and cultivate towards excellence. I do this through teaching, practice and motivation. The children gradually mature and attain self-confidence. I encourage and develop creativity in my classes. No teacher should try to impose a particular "style" on anyone! I've always considered "style" to be unique to an individual (just like handwriting).
